Escape in a Campervan Rental

Rented a van for a weeks trip through the national parks. Van was equipped with what we needed, super spacious, had ample storage, and drove really well. When we were checking in my flight was delayed and we weren’t going to arrive until 30 minutes past close. Jamie stayed late to help us out and ensure we could add a second driver. Thank you Jamie!! Great overall experience. Would recommend.

We rented a Mavericks campervan for 16 days, starting in San Francisco and returning it in Los Angeles. After reading some negative reviews about the reliability of Mavericks, I was a bit concerned—especially since ours had nearly 390,000 miles on it. But we drove over 3,100 miles without a single issue. The van was surprisingly comfortable and very convenient. The kitchen setup and fridge were super handy and worked perfectly throughout the trip. For the price, it’s a no-brainer. We had an amazing trip, and the van played a big part in it.

We have rented Maveric (named Bodie) for 3 weeks. He served us well through the ups and downs of Sonora pass, heat of Utah deserts and cold nights in Yellowstone. Support was excellent, I would say they even saved our trip by finding a solution to every issue! Lady in San Francisco office was very helpful, showed us around the van and shared some van life hacks as well as answered every question we had. Definatelly would recommend Escape Vans for your adventure! P.S. Our van was good conversation starter in may campsites and RV parks, very good way to meet fellow travelers. Also, was fun seeing other Escape vans on the road :)

Great experience renting a Mesa for 2 weeks from Escape. Drove 2000 miles from Vegas ending up in SF via Utah. Zero faults with the van the entire trip. Sleeping and kitchen kit were essential make sure to get these. Cigarette power adapter is also a must. Messed up the booking but Evan fixed it for us a week out! Wouldn’t rent a camper with anyone else.

We had such an incredible experience with escape campervan! We are from Florida and decided to do a 12 day Seattle to San Francisco road trip. I personally researched so many companies offering van rentals but we landed on Escape. Support was so helpful in helping us select our van and add-one. We chose the mesa for its larger size and when we picked up the van and everything was immaculate. They showed us how things worked and within 15 min, we were on our way. We had zero issues with the van. The fridge stayed cool at all times, the bed was easy to put together and take apart. It truly was perfect. We dropped it off in San Francisco at the Milpitas location and the crew there was so cool. Christy checked us out and gave us additional information about promotions coming up. We are definitely booking another trip soon! Also, every location has a donation corner where things that are left over can be taken by new pick ups. I really like this because we were able to get some condiments, dish soap little things that you forget to buy at the store for your trip. We in return also donated a bunch of stuff for the next group of people that were picking up Vans. We saw so many other escape vans during our trip and I will admit that ours had the better art design and looked newer/fresher. So glad for that because I can be picky in that sense. Overall, this trip was absolutely amazing and we will definitely be renting another van for a longer period of time.
